[Fashion Critiques] 35th Hong Kong Film Awards Red Carpet and Winners

The annually prestigious 35th Hong Kong Film Awards took place yesterday recognizing achievements in all aspects of filmmaking, especially in directing, screenwriting, acting and cinematography. 'Ten Years' sweeped a whooping seven awards with Aaron Kwok and new actress Jessie Li winning Best Actor and Actress. So, what's an awards ceremony without a red carpet right? Let's check out my best dressed list down below!

Thai actress, Poydtreechada looked amazing wearing a breathtaking Ashi Studio gown. The embroidered gown that flattered her figure featured exaggerated sleeves and a frothy bottom. A face framing updo rounded up her look.
I absolutely love this, she's definitely one of the best dressed!

Yummy mummy, Kathy Chow wowed in a jaw dropping Stello gown. The dramatic gown flaunted her figure perfectly and made her looked strikingly statuesque. Sleek straight hair and deep crimson lips completed her extraordinary look. Magnificent!
Janice Man walked the red carpet stunning crowds in a daring Versus Versace gown. This look would have scored perfect if not for a minor error, the long necklace. Bold statement earrings, glossy waves and strappy sandals completed her look. Sexy!
Queen of red carpet, Carina Lau turned heads in a frothy Atelier Versace gown with a high slit that revealed her slender legs. One might not be able to pull such a difficult piece off, but she did it with ease easily.
Miriam Yeung walked the red carpet going safe in a nude Elie Saab gown. The gown had romantic lace overlay and was styled with matching nude pumps. A swept back do and deep berry lips completed her look.
Do you like it?

I had no idea how Karena Lam  manage to win best dressed in this shapeless Dior gown. Tell me how, when there's strong competitors like Carina and Poyd.
Vivian Sung and Darren Wang walked the carpet linking arms, looking absolutely matching. Darren chose a classic black suit and styled it with brown boots. While Vivian wore a soft Alexander Mcqueen gown with a sparkly top and fluid bottom.
Fiona Sit arrived on the red carpet glowing in an olive Burberry lace number. I love Fiona, but not the gown as sheer dresses tends to put me off. I do, however like the backview.
A messy updo and rosy makeup completed her look. What are your thoughts on this look?
TVB actress, Sisley Choi walked the red carpet in a floral WeCouture gown.
Best Actress Jessie Li wore a colourful printed gown with matching loud heels. I like the creativity but she didn't carry it off well enough.
Jackie Choi in a rather pale and flowy gown that washes her out slightly.
Elaine Jin wore a rather casual outfit for an award ceremony. Her boxy top and frumpy skirt is a no from me. Aaron, as always goes classy.
Ada Choi with husband, Max Zhang
Ada wore a sparkly revealing gown from Escada, whereas Max chose a black embossed printed suit.
