[Movie Review] Bounty Hunters 赏金猎人

Bounty Hunters is a 2016 action comedy film directed by Shin Terra and produced by Raymond Wong, starring Lee Min Ho, Wallace Chung, Tiffany Tang, Karena Ng, Jeremy Jones Xu and Louis Fan.

Synopsis:
Lee Shan (Lee Min Ho) and Ah Yo (Wallace Chung) are ex-Interpol agents who are now bounty hunters, chasing fugitives for cash rewards. When the two of them are framed for a hotel-bombing, they joined hands with a legendary bounty hunter named Cat (Tiffany Tang), along with her teammates, Swan (Karena Ng) and Bao Bao (Louis Fan), to find the real mastermind behind these bombings

Lee Min Ho as Lee San
I like Lee Min Ho, but i grew bored of his rich kid roles and was really surprised by his great performance here as an interpol turned bodyguard. His fight scenes literally screams hot!
Wallace Chung as Ah Yo
Wallace Chung took on a much more humorous role here after portraying some serious roles in the past. He contributed to almost 80% of the laughter and that this film would not be so well-received without him. Give him any role, and he'll nail it too!
Tiffany Tang as Cat
I was happy that for once, she took on a different role. Portraying a strong women here as Boss Cat surely gained her more fans. She did fairly well, though she looked like she overdo it at times.
Karena Ng as Swan
Though her screen time is noticeably less than the others, i could see improvements in her actions and delivering of lines. Nothing much to comment about since her screentime is so limited. On a side note, i'm loving her style in this film!
Louis Fan as Bao Bao
Known for being a martial artist, it's sad to see him being wasted in a 'nanny' role here.
Jeremy Jones Xu as Tommy
The ultimate villain in this film, Jeremy captured the sick and crazy character absolutely well. This guy is way underrated, i;m hoping he gain more recognition through Tommy.

Now onto the chemistry!
I don't feel chemistry between Tiffany and Lee Min Ho, at all. Well, i blame it all on Tiffany's awkward acting.
Is it weird that i ship this pair of brothers more than the main OTP? I don't know, I love love love Wallace. Anybody paired with him, I"m gamed.
Thoughts:
Overall, this was a great movie, and i love all the actors in it though the plot itself, is lacking. As a fan of Raymond Wong's films, i have to say this film is one of the more decent ones in recent years.
And yes, you should definitely watch it just for the cast alone!
Who's your favorite Bounty Hunter?
